What types of vinyl records can I order as a graduation gift?
We offer two options. The Black Vinyl Record is our classic format — available in 7”, 10”, and 12” — starting from $54.97. It comes with a full custom photo jacket and center labels pressed with their songs. The Custom Colored Vinyl Record is the same product but with the disc itself in a color you choose: 17 catalog options or a custom HEX code. It starts from $149.97 and is only available in 12”. How much music fits on a graduation vinyl record?
Up to 40 minutes total — about 20 minutes per side. That’s enough for a full graduation playlist: the songs that defined those years, the ones from the final semester, or a mix of both. The 7” holds up to 6 minutes per side (1–2 songs), the 10” up to 12 minutes per side (3–4 songs), and the 12” up to 20 minutes per side (10–12 songs). We recommend staying within each format’s capacity for the best sound quality.
When should I order to receive it before graduation?
Production takes 7–10 business days after you approve the art proof, plus 3–5 days for standard shipping. To be safe, order at least 3 weeks before the ceremony or party. Can a group of friends give a graduation vinyl record together?
Absolutely — and it’s one of the most memorable ways to order it. Everyone picks one song, a friend coordinates the list, and the whole group appears in the message on the label. One record from everyone hits differently than any individual gift.
